CNC Machining Capabilities

TOMI Engineering manufactures complex components and assemblies for aerospace, defense, and space programs. We support work ranging from small precision parts to large structural components approximately 10 feet long, in both prototype and production quantities.

• CNC machining: 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling of intricate components, including larger aerostructures and tight-tolerance parts.

• Materials: Aluminum, titanium, stainless steels, nickel alloys, castings, and forgings.

• Manufacturing engineering: CNC programming, machining strategy, tooling and fixturing, process development, and design-for-manufacturability support.

• Assembly: Installation of inserts, solid rivets, nutplates, bearings, bushings, gaskets, and other aerospace hardware, along with specified sealing and torque operations.

• Inspection and quality: First article, in-process, and final inspection, supported by coordinate measuring machines and documented quality processes.

Our team can take a program from initial manufacturing planning through machined parts, inspection, and finished assembly.
